BigSAF is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to supporting underprivileged children in Africa, particularly children with disabilities and those from poor backgrounds—especially young girls. We focus on improving access to nutrition, healthcare, education, assistive tools, skills training, and leadership opportunities to ensure holistic development and long-term empowerment.
We operate through seven key programme areas:
1. Child Nutrition & Wellness – feeding programmes, nutrition education, and supplements.
2. Child Health & Medical Support – screenings, immunisations, and clean water initiatives.
3. Inclusive & Quality Education – scholarships, school support, and special education services.
4. Assistive Technology & Disability Inclusion – distribution of devices and advocacy.
5. Skills Training & Vocational Development – entrepreneurship and digital literacy.
6. Talent Discovery & Creative Empowerment – sports, arts, mentorship, and showcases.
7. Leadership & Civic Engagement – youth leadership training and community participation.
In just two years, BigSAF has:
• Positively impacted 263 children
• Carried out 3 major charitable outreaches
• Reached 1,000 girls with our menstrual hygiene project Pad for a Girl, proudly sponsored by KGL Foundation.
